How to work with me

There are a few ways to work together

Choose the structure that fits where you are right now – a guided program for deeper, root-cause work, or individual consultations for focused support.

Option one

Naturopathic programs

Our programs provide the structure, accountability, education, and personalised support needed to create meaningful, sustainable improvements in your health — rather than relying on one-off appointments.

Whether you’re navigating perimenopause or menopause, optimising your gut health, or protecting your bones to avoid osteopenia or osteoporosis, a structured program lets us identify root causes, track your progress, and adjust as your health evolves.

Option two

Individual consultations

Our programs aren’t always the right fit — so we offer individual consultations too. These begin with an initial consultation, followed by several return consultations to achieve meaningful, sustainable improvements in your health.

We don’t review functional tests in individual appointments, as these take considerable time to interpret. If you’re interested in functional testing (such as gut microbiome or DUTCH hormone testing), one of our programs is the better path.

All consultations can be held online or in person at our Melbourne locations — choose at the time of booking. Online appointments run securely via the Practice Better app, which integrates Zoom.

Undecided between a program and individual consultations, or have questions first? A free discovery call is the easiest place to start.

Please note that some private health insurers in Australia offer rebates for nutrition appointments. Check with you health insurer whether you are eligible!

Rebates for naturopathy appointments were reinstated by the federal government in 2025. Some Australian health insurers have started to offer these rebates for naturopathy from the 1st April 2026. Please check with your health insurer whether they are offering naturopathy rebates.

FAQ’s

Once you have made a booking for an initial consultation, my intake questionnaire will be sent to you.

I would really like you to complete this before the consultation and return it to me, as this will help me prepare for our chat and for us to be able to explore your concerns in greater detail. If you have any current blood tests, stool tests or any other test results that could be useful for us to look at, please send them in with the health questionnaire. All information collected, whether collected prior to, during or even post the consultation will be stored securely and will of course remain private and confidential.

In Australia, qualified clinical naturopaths and nutritionists typically hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in naturopathy or clinical nutrition from a reputable institution. This enables them to become accredited members of professional associations such as the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA), Australasian Association and Register of Practising Nutritionists (AARPN), or the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA). Since the terms “naturopath” and “nutritionist” are not legally protected in Australia, checking membership with one of these associations is one of the easiest ways to verify that a practitioner has completed a recognised degree qualification.

A dietitian has completed a degree in nutrition plus additional accredited training in dietetics. This enables them to work in clinical and hospital settings, provide medical nutrition therapy, and support people with complex medical conditions. Dietitians often work within the conventional healthcare system and are eligible for Medicare rebates when referred by a GP under specific care plans.

A clinical nutritionist is also degree-qualified in nutritional science and works one-on-one to support people through diet, lifestyle and nutrition education. Clinical nutritionists typically take a holistic and systems-based perspective — meaning they look at how different parts of the body interact, and consider factors such as gut health, stress, sleep, environment, and lifestyle when addressing symptoms. Treatments are evidence-informed and may also include traditional and integrative approaches where appropriate. Clinical nutritionists may also recommend practitioner-only nutritional supplements when indicated.

Both professions value evidence-based practice — they simply work within different frameworks and healthcare settings, and you may choose based on the type of support and approach that feels right for you.
