Find out the root cause of your symptoms

Services we offer

Initial 1:1 consultation (60 minutes)

Open laptop on a wooden table next to a notebook with a pen, a white coffee mug, a small jar with a drink, and a jar with flowers.

During our consultation, I take a thorough case history, which includes an exploration of your current symptoms, your personal and family medical history, and your diet and lifestyle. We also explore various body systems in-depth to gain a better understanding of your overall health. We will discuss your goals and what you hope to get out of the consultation. If necessary, I’ll refer you for some relevant pathology tests and/or ask you to keep a diet/symptom diary.

Follow-up consultation (30 or 45 minutes)

To get the most out of naturopathic treatment, I generally recommend at least 2-6 return appointments, but this of course always depends on your personal situation.

What is naturopathy?

Naturopathy and nutritional medicine are evidence-based complementary medicine approaches, that focus on prevention of disease and managing existing disease by finding and treating the root cause. Whilst scientific research guides the treatment and prevention strategies, clinical naturopaths and nutritionists also take a holistic view of someone’s health, which means they also look at dietary, lifestyle and environmental factors and assess how they may have contributed to the symptoms the client might be experiencing.

The body has an innate ability to heal itself. A clinical naturopath and nutritionist can help the body heal itself by identifying and removing obstacles that prevent the body from returning to health, and by encouraging the patient to adopt a healthy lifestyle that includes nutritious foods, exercise, stress management techniques and other lifestyle modifications. In addition, we use individually tailored natural herbal medications formulated to address each persons specific condition, symptoms and causes. Our treatments are individually tailored because we recognise that we are all different and that a ’one size fits all’ approach does not serve us.

Andrea Robinson is a clinical naturopath and nutritionist with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Naturopathy) and a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine).
